As you may all know by now, we recently had very good news for the game. The legendary Spigfun purchased a very expensive black hole from the Developers, essentially funding them so they could continue developing this game. This was great news, as the future of this game was uncertain, but now we are able to look forward to future updates, the first of which will come later this month! We will be getting a new galaxy, filled with opportunities. And later this year, we will get the highly anticipated War of Corporations update, which will bring fleets, battles, and territory control to the game. In addition to all this good news, we have seen an increased influx in new players, looking to discover their own part of the galaxy. Welcome new players! Even though the home galaxy remains frozen for now, we hope you enjoy exploring the Edge galaxy. I’m sure we will continue to see new players arrive, but after a lengthy discussion with Spig, we have concluded that the game could really benefit from hype and new players, especially now that the future of this game is a lot clearer, and NFT’s are booming. For this, we need your help. But we want to reward those who help! And in order to encourage new players and motivate old ones, we present: THE BIGGEST 0xUNIVERSE GIVEAWAY EVER! Yes, you read that right. Corporation shares and potentially hundreds of planets are the prizes, so keep reading to see how you can win. In order to reward older players, bring new players to the game, and help new players start, the giveaway will be organized in the following way:
- Epilogue giveaway: To enter the giveaway, players will donate Edge galaxy planets, or Matic tokens. For each planet donated to the giveaway, or 3 Matic donated, they will get one entry. Players can donate as many times as they want, in order to increase their chances to win. The prize? 100 shares of TheLibrary corporation, 1% of all the shares. There will be one or two winners selected, this depends on the special condition explained below.
- Prologue giveaway: This giveaway is limited to new players, who have joined the discord server after February or are yet to join. To enter the giveaway, players only need to enter in the prologue giveaway channel. The prize? All the planets and Matic tokens donated from the Epilogue giveaway will be distributed to the new players that register for the prologue giveaway, in a first come first serve basis. This means that if you are new to the game, there is a very good chance you will get a planet and some Matic for you to start out with. There will also be the possibility of winning 100 shares of TheLibrary corporation, 1% of all the shares. This depends on the special condition explained below.
- Special condition: This condition is meant to encourage old players to invite new players to the game, and have a higher chance of winning if they do so. As a total for both giveaways, there is 200 shares to be distributed, to two lucky players. If by the end of the giveaway, there are more donated planets than new players to claim them, one player from each giveaway will be selected to win 100 shares each. On the other hand, if there are more new players than donated planets, two players will be selected from the Epilogue giveaway, to win 100 shares each. What does this mean? That every player that donates a planet should invite at least one new player to the game, if they want to double their chances to win!
